Let go of all things

“let go of all things,” He said

without an intonation of demand

“let go of all things,” He said

“and you certainly get me and …”

“And!” I thought. “And … what?”

“Nothing,” He said. “And … nothing.”

“Nothing … nothing is needed.”

“For I am not nothing, but everything.”

Everything I’ve ever needed or wanted

So I let go … I relinquish

Every day … each moment

Until only Him can I distinguish.

About Ted Wueste

I live at the foothills of the Phoenix Mountains Preserve (in Arizona) with my incredible wife and our two golden doodles (Fergus & Finneas). We have two young adult children - who sometimes live with us as they are getting established. I desire to live in the conscious awareness of the goodness and love of God every moment of my life.
