Kiss the Son * reflecting on Psalm 2:12

Kiss the Son, he says

But do I dare?

The holy one

The gracious one

The almighty one

I could go on …

But the invitation

to draw close

in such intimacy

in such reverence

from the One who has kissed me

all the days of my life.

I am humbled

I am in awe

I bow and kiss the lover of my soul.

This, such intimacy, is life.
